Brad Collis is a Melbourne-based journalist, writer and editor. He is the author of two acclaimed histories: ‘Snowy The Making of Modern Australia’ (Hodder and Stoughton, 1990) and the history of the CSIRO, ‘Fields of Discovery’ (Allen & Unwin, 2000). His novel, The Soul Stone was first published by Hodder & Stoughton's Sceptre imprint in 1993. A new novel in 2025, The Cutters, has been published independently via Amazon KDP.
In his spare time Brad is a keen nature photographer, guitarist and beekeeper.
